Is OK an employment agency for craftsmen?
OK is not an employment agency. Orders are placed exclusively in a network of craftsmen and construction companies that has grown in partnership over many years.
Who are the clients?
Property companies, project companies, construction companies, general contractors, city councils, private developers, home and flat owners, property management companies and operating companies of department stores and shopping centres.

Acquisition, project costing, contract preparation, construction commercial support, accounting, account management, transfers, etc. are handled by the OK organization office.
Where are the construction locations?
Mainly in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, but also in other European countries - e.g. Denmark, the Netherlands, France, Spain and Portugal.
How is the billing done at OK?
The basis is the measurement of the construction site or the general scope of the order. Invoicing is carried out via OK. Payment transactions are handled by an independent German lawyer acting in a fiduciary capacity. Invoicing takes place every 14 days, payment term is 2 to 3 weeks according to VOB.
How does OK deal with outstanding accounts and bad debts?
Due to a smart billing system, experience has shown that long-term outstanding accounts do not occur. OK invoices all negotiated construction and craftsmen's costs and pays the respective craftsman's company in full if the craftsman's work has been carried out carefully and in accordance with the contract. This protects both the client and the craftsman company from troublesome construction defect negotiations. Should there nevertheless be bad debts, these are managed by the OK lawyers.
Who organizes accommodation for craftsmen from other countries?
This depends on various factors, including legal ones. The accommodation is either provided directly by the builder/client or organised by OK in accordance with the respective individual agreement.
How will construction and craft materials be procured?
The procurement of materials is organized by the respective commissioned companies.
Where will special tools come from if they are needed?
If required, special tools will be rented from OK and charged directly to the client.
Who is the contracting party of the builder/client?
The contractual partner is always the individual craftsman or crafts company arranged for the respective project or the team put together. OK always controls the administration.
How is the warranty handled?
Usual security retention until the end of the project. Polluter pays principle. Public liability insurance.
What comes next when companies fulfill the requirements of the OK Network?
The company will be included in the OK network. If a construction or renovation contract is pending, the suitable companies receive an enquiry from OK. The companies check whether the order fits into their plans and are included in the project if applicable.
Are there any costs for craft and construction companies when joining the OK Network?
No. Partner companies of OK only incur costs when OK collects its agreed claim for management and handling fees and deducts them from the respective performance payment before this is paid out to the partner company. The prerequisite for full payment of the wage remains the prior and documented handover of a flawless construction or craftsman's work.
Are the construction and craft companies exclusively bound to the OK network?
Companies are free to choose additional clients. Nevertheless, neither the client nor the craft business benefits from the advantages of the OK organization. The economic interests of the OK network are regulated by explicit order and customer protection agreements.
What insurance do craftsmen, tradesmen and construction companies need in any case?
All members of the OK network require public liability insurance.
